I recently stayed at Pension Saint Mateo for a short trip to Logrono. The location was excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the old city center and conveniently on the way to Camino. Despite the noise from other guests, who were understandably up early for the Camino and the harvest festival, the facilities were good and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the shared bathrooms clean and modern. They even provided towels and toiletries, as well as free coffee. it was great value for money and had good security.
Can just recommend this hotel.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, with some lovely cafes just a stone's throw away. It was also very close to downtown, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The room was small and basic, but it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The shared bathroom was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. it was a great experience.
The only downside was the constant drilling noise, which made my stay a bit unpleasant at times. But aside from that, everything else was great.

Managed to survive the Camino without Wi-Fi, so free Wi-Fi was a much-needed luxury. , the tour desk was great, I learned all about the area's natural beauty - from the comfort of my room.
Who needs air con? Sleeping in a stuffy room is just what I needed to complete my "authentic" Spanish experience.

The staff is super friendly. Plus, they provide towels and toiletries. And did I mention they have free coffee? an amazing value for money!
